Beef Stew

Ingredients

  1. 425g stewing steak
  2. 500g sweet potato cubed
  3. 300g carrots chopped
  4. 200g tomatoes chopped
  5. 160g onion chopped
  6. 75g celery chopped
  7. 20g plain flour
  8. 1 garlic clove
  9. 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  10. 1 tsp paprika
  11. ½ tsp salt and black pepper
  12. 200ml beef stock

Method

  1. Place meat in slow cooker or lidded casserole dish.
  2. Mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika and mix in with the meat until well covered.
  3. Cover with the rest of the ingredients and pour in beef stock over everything.
  4. Cook on low for 10 – 12 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
